
Easy Sausage and Veggie Breakfast Quiche

Ingredients
5 large eggs 🥚
1 cup half and half 🥛
1 tsp hot sauce 🌶️
2 green onions, chopped 🌿
1/2 tsp salt 🧂
1/4 tsp black pepper 🖤
1 tbsp avocado oil 🥑
1/2 lb sausage, crumbled and browned 🌭
1 small onion, chopped 🧅
1 bell pepper, chopped 🌶️
2 cloves garlic, minced 🧄
2 cups baby spinach 🥬
1 pie crust 🥧
1 cup sharp cheddar cheese, shredded 🧀
Instructions
1️⃣ Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). 🔥
2️⃣ In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the eggs, half and half, hot sauce, green onions, salt, and pepper. Set aside. 🍳
3️⃣ Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat. Once hot, add the avocado oil and sausage. Brown the sausage, breaking it up as it cooks. 🌭🍳
4️⃣ Add the chopped onion, bell pepper, and minced garlic to the skillet. Sauté for another 3-5 minutes until the onion and bell pepper start to become tender. 🧅🌶️🧄
5️⃣ Add the baby spinach to the skillet, sauté for a minute until the spinach is wilted, then remove from the heat. 🥬
6️⃣ Pour the sausage mixture into the pie crust and top with shredded sharp cheddar cheese. 🥧🧀
7️⃣ Pour the egg mixture evenly over the quiche filling, spreading the green onion out evenly if needed. 🥧🍳
8️⃣ Bake the quiche for 25-30 minutes or until the crust is golden brown and the egg is set. ⏳
9️⃣ Remove from the oven and let sit for 10 minutes before slicing. 🍽️
