One Pot Gochujang Pasta

This dish is perfect for those busy weeknights when you want a quick, delicious meal without all the fuss. With a blend of rich cheeses and the unique flavor of gochujang, this pasta is sure to become a family favorite.
Ingredients
- 2 cups macaroni pasta or pasta of choice π
- 3 cups water π§
- 2 sliced sausages π
- 2.5 tbsp gochujang πΆοΈ
- 1 tbsp tomato paste π
- 1.5 tsp sugar π¬
- 1 tbsp garlic powder π§
- 1/2 cup grated parmesan π§
- 1/2 cup grated mozzarella π§
- 1/2 cup grated sharp cheddar π§
- 1 tbsp butter π§
- 1/2 cup heavy cream π₯
Optional:
- 1/2 tsp salt or to taste π§
Instructions
- Boil the Pasta: In a pot, add pasta and water and bring to a boil over high heat. π₯
- Cook the Pasta: Once the water starts boiling, turn down to medium or medium-low heat and cook for the recommended time on the package instructions, stirring occasionally. If the pasta is still not cooked, add 1-3 more minutes. You want there to be some pasta water left but not too much. ππ§
- Add Sausages: When there are 2 minutes left, add the sliced sausages and stir. π
- Combine Ingredients: Once the pasta is cooked, turn the heat down to medium-low and add the rest of the ingredients. Mix well until well combined. Taste for seasoning and adjust accordingly. Add salt if needed. π§π§π₯
