Ingredients
4 large eggs
1/2 cup whole milk
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 1/2 teaspoons ground cinnamon, divided
Pinch of salt
8 slices Brioche bread
Unsalted butter, for cooking
Maple syrup, powdered sugar, and berries for serving, if desired
Instructions
Preheat your electric griddle to 350 degrees F.
In a shallow dish, whisk together eggs, milk, vanilla, half the cinnamon, and a pinch of salt.
Dip each bread slice into the egg mixture, flipping to coat both sides evenly.
After dipping half the bread slices, add the remaining cinnamon to the mixture and continue with the rest of the slices.
Melt butter over medium heat on the griddle. Cook each slice until golden brown, about 2-3 minutes per side.
