Air Fryer Apples

  • Author: Dulcia

Description

These Air Fryer Apples are the perfect combination of warm, cinnamon-spiced sweetness with a slightly crispy exterior and tender inside. Made with just a few simple ingredients like real maple syrup and coconut oil, they’re a healthier dessert or snack option that’s both quick and easy to prepare.

Ingredients

Scale

2 red apples (Pink Lady, Honeycrisp, or Gala), peeled, cored, and cut into 1-inch bite-sized cubes
2 tablespoons real maple syrup, divided
1 tablespoon melted coconut oil (refined coconut oil has no taste)
1 teaspoon cinnamon

Instructions

Preheat the Air Fryer: Preheat your air fryer to 380°F (193°C) and lightly spray the basket with non-stick spray.
Prepare the Apples: In a bowl, toss the peeled and cubed apples with 1 tablespoon of maple syrup, melted coconut oil, and cinnamon until evenly coated.
Air Fry: Place the apple cubes in the air fryer basket, making sure they do not overlap too much to ensure proper cooking. Air fry for 10-14 minutes, shaking the basket halfway through to ensure even cooking. The apples should be golden, slightly crispy on the outside, and tender on the inside.
Finish and Serve: Once done, remove the apples from the air fryer and toss them in the remaining 1 tablespoon of maple syrup while still warm. Serve immediately.
Enjoy: These air fryer apples are delicious on their own, but they also pair wonderfully with vanilla ice cream, oatmeal, or as a sweet topping for pancakes or waffles.
