Ingredients

  • 16 wonton wrappers
  • 4 oz cream cheese, softened
  • ½ teaspoon garlic powder
  • ⅛ teaspoon onion powder
  • ⅛ teaspoon parsley flakes
  • Olive oil spray

Directions

1. Prepare the Cream Cheese Filling:

  • In a small bowl, mix together the softened cream cheese, garlic powder, onion powder, and parsley flakes until the mixture is smooth and well combined. This will be the flavorful filling for your wontons.

2. Assemble the Wontons:

  • Lay out six wonton wrappers on a piece of parchment paper. Moisten the edges of each wrapper with a bit of water to help them seal properly.
  • Place about one teaspoon of the cream cheese mixture in the center of each wonton wrapper. Fold the wrapper in half diagonally, pressing firmly to remove any air pockets and seal the edges. Then, bring the two opposite corners together over the center, using a little water to secure them.
  • Repeat the process with the remaining wonton wrappers.

3. Air Fry the Wontons:

  • Preheat your air fryer to 350°F (175°C). Arrange the prepared wontons in the air fryer basket, making sure they aren’t overlapping. Spray both sides of the wontons with olive oil spray.
  • Bake the wontons for 4 minutes with the folded points facing down.
  • After 4 minutes, open the air fryer, spray the tops with more olive oil, flip the wontons, and spray the other side with olive oil. Continue baking for an additional 4-6 minutes, or until the wontons are golden brown and crispy.

4. Serve:

  • Once cooked, remove the wontons from the air fryer and let them cool slightly before serving. Enjoy them on their own or pair them with your favorite dipping sauce, such as sweet chili sauce or soy sauce.
