Description

These Air Fryer Garlic Knots are a delightful combination of crispy exterior and soft, flavorful interior. Perfect as a snack, appetizer, or side dish, they’re quick and easy to make, taking just minutes in the air fryer. The garlic salt, dried basil, and onion powder add a delicious seasoning that pairs perfectly with a touch of Parmesan and parsley.

Ingredients

Scale

½ tsp garlic salt
¼ tsp dried basil
¼ tsp onion powder
13.8-ounce can pizza crust
Olive oil spray
Grated Parmesan cheese (optional garnish)
Minced parsley (optional garnish)

Instructions

Preheat your air fryer to 350°F (175°C).
In a small bowl, whisk together the garlic salt, dried basil, and onion powder. Set aside.
Unroll the pizza crust dough onto a clean surface.
Cut the dough widthwise into ten 1-inch rectangular strips. Cutting widthwise ensures the strips are short enough to create a nice knot.
Carefully wrap the middle of each strip around itself to form a loose knot, tucking the loose ends behind the knot. Avoid pulling the knot tight.
Lightly spray the knots with olive oil spray.
Sprinkle a small pinch of the combined spices over each knot.
Place the knots in the preheated air fryer basket, making sure they are not touching or overlapping.
Air fry at 400°F (200°C) for 5-6 minutes, or until the knots are golden brown.
Once done, remove the knots from the air fryer and spray them lightly with a bit more olive oil or melted butter. Optionally, top with grated Parmesan cheese and minced parsley for added flavor and presentation.
Serve warm and enjoy!
