  • Author: Dulcia

Description

This Air Fryer Sausage and Peppers dish brings together the smoky, savory flavors of sausage with the vibrant, sweet taste of bell peppers. The quick air fryer cooking method ensures that the sausage is crispy on the outside while the peppers and onions remain tender and flavorful.

Ingredients

Scale

16 oz Polish sausage, kielbasa, or your choice of rope sausage or link sausages
1/2 large yellow or white onion, sliced into 1-inch pieces
3 bell peppers, any color combination, seeds and stems removed, chopped into 1-inch pieces
1 tablespoon avocado oil or olive oil
1 teaspoon parsley
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1/2 teaspoon onion powder
Pinch of salt and pepper, to taste

Instructions

In a large bowl, combine the sliced sausage, chopped peppers, and onions. Add the oil and seasonings, then toss everything together until well-coated.
Place the sausage and pepper mixture into the air fryer basket or on the air fryer rack. Depending on the size of your air fryer, you may need to cook in batches. The mixture should be spread out but doesn’t need to be in a single layer.
Cook at 400°F for 12 minutes, tossing halfway through. If you prefer a crisper texture, cook for an additional 2 minutes.
Once done, carefully remove from the air fryer. Adjust seasoning with extra garlic, salt, and pepper if desired before serving.
