Description

The Apple Bliss is a sumptuous layered dessert that marries the creamy texture of cream cheese with the rich sweetness of apple pie filling, layered on a crisp pecan and graham cracker base. Ideal for gatherings and family meals, this no-bake dessert not only indulges the sweet tooth but also adds a decorative touch to your dining table.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 package graham crackers (9 crackers)
  • ½ cup pecans, chopped
  • ¼ cup sugar
  • ½ cup butter, melted
  • 8 ounces cream cheese, softened
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
  • 16 ounces Cool Whip, divided
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 42 ounces apple pie filling
  • ¼ cup chopped pecans (optional for topping)

Instructions

  1. Preparing the Crust Preheat the oven to 350°F. In a food processor, pulse the graham crackers and the ½ cup of chopped pecans until finely ground. Add the melted butter and ¼ cup sugar, and pulse a few times to combine. Press this mixture into a 9×13-inch baking pan to form a firm, even layer. Bake for 8 minutes, then let cool completely.
  2. Cream Cheese Layer In a large bowl, blend the softened cream cheese with the vanilla extract, 8 ounces of Cool Whip, and powdered sugar until the mixture is smooth. Spread this evenly over the cooled crust.
  3. Adding the Apple Pie Filling Spread the apple pie filling evenly over the cream cheese layer, ensuring good coverage.
  4. Topping It Off Spread the remaining 8 ounces of Cool Whip over the apple pie filling. For a finishing touch, sprinkle with ¼ cup of chopped pecans if desired.
  5. Refrigeration Refrigerate the dessert for 3 to 4 hours, or overnight, to allow the layers to set and flavors to meld together.
