Ingredients
Bread:
2 cups white granulated sugar
4 cups all-purpose flour
2 tbsp baking powder
1 tsp salt
2 large eggs
2 cups milk (whole or any kind)
⅔ cup vegetable oil
1 cup apple, peeled and diced
1 tbsp ground cinnamon
Topping:
⅔ cup white granulated sugar
1 tsp ground cinnamon
Instructions
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease your loaf pans.
In a medium mixing bowl, whisk together the sugar, flour, baking powder, and salt. Set aside.
In the bowl of a stand mixer, beat the eggs, milk, and vegetable oil until just combined.
Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture and mix until just moistened. Stir in the diced apple and ground cinnamon.
Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pans, filling them about ⅔ full to allow room for the bread to rise.
In a small bowl, combine the topping ingredients (sugar and cinnamon). Spoon the mixture on top of each loaf and swirl it in lightly with a knife.
Bake for 40 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
