  • Author: Dulcia
  • Total Time: 35 min
  • Yield: 6-8 1x

Ingredients

Scale

2 large apples, peeled, cored, and diced 🍏🍎
1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour 🌾
1/4 cup granulated sugar 🍚
1/4 cup brown sugar 🍂
2 teaspoons baking powder 🌟
1 1/2 teaspoons ground cinnamon 🌰
1/2 teaspoon salt 🧂
2/3 cup milk 🥛
2 eggs, lightly beaten 🥚🥚
2 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted 🧈
1 teaspoon vanilla extract 🌼
Powdered sugar for dusting (optional) ❄️

Instructions

1️⃣ Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and lightly grease a baking sheet. 🔥

2️⃣ In a large bowl, whisk together flour, granulated sugar, brown sugar, baking powder, cinnamon, and salt. 🥣

3️⃣ In a separate bowl, combine milk, eggs, melted butter, and vanilla extract. 🥛🥚🧈

4️⃣ Gently fold the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients until just combined. Don’t overmix; a few lumps are okay. 🍶

5️⃣ Fold in the diced apples until evenly distributed throughout the batter. 🍏🍎

6️⃣ Drop 1/4 cup (or less for smaller fritters) of batter onto the baking sheet, ensuring there’s space between each fritter. 🍪

7️⃣ Bake in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes or until they’re golden brown and the center is set. ⏳

8️⃣ Let the fritters cool in the pan for about 5 minutes before transferring them to a wire rack. 🌬️

9️⃣ Dust with powdered sugar before serving if desired. ❄️
