These Easy Apple Pie Crescent Bites are a delightful combination of spiced apples, buttery crescent rolls, and crunchy pecans. Ingredients
1/4 cup packed light brown sugar
1 teaspoon apple pie spice (plus 1/4 teaspoon for sprinkling on top of crescent rolls)
3 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
1/3 cup chopped pecans
1 small Granny Smith apple, cored and sliced into 8 (1/2-inch) slices
1 (8-ounce) tube Pillsbury Original crescent rolls
Instructions
Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
In a small bowl, combine the brown sugar and apple pie spice. Set aside.
Melt the butter, then toss the apple slices in the butter until evenly coated. Set aside.
Arrange the crescent roll triangles on the prepared baking sheet. Evenly distribute the brown sugar mixture onto each triangle.
Sprinkle the chopped pecans evenly over each crescent roll triangle.
Place one apple slice on the wide end of each triangle and carefully wrap the crescent dough around the apple slice.
Brush each wrapped crescent roll with the remaining melted butter. Lightly sprinkle additional apple pie spice over the top.
Bake in the preheated oven for 10 to 12 minutes, or until golden brown.
Let the apple pie bites cool for 5 minutes before serving.
