Brownie Layer:
1 cup unsalted butter
8 oz semi-sweet chocolate, chopped
2 cups white sugar
4 large eggs
2 teaspoons vanilla extract
¾ cup cocoa powder
¾ cup all-purpose flour
½ teaspoon salt
Baileys Buttercream:
⅔ cup unsalted butter, softened
2 ½ cups powdered sugar
34 tablespoons Baileys Irish Cream
Chocolate Ganache:
8 oz semi-sweet chocolate, finely chopped
½ cup Baileys Irish Cream


Instructions

Brownie Layer:
Preheat the oven to 350°F (180°C).
Line a 9×13 inch metal pan with parchment paper, leaving an overhang.
In a large heatproof bowl, microwave the butter and chocolate in 1-minute intervals, stirring until melted.
Whisk in the sugar, then the eggs one at a time, and vanilla.
Fold in cocoa, flour, and salt.
Pour into the pan and bake for 32-37 minutes. Cool completely.
Baileys Buttercream:
Beat the butter until soft.
Gradually beat in powdered sugar and Baileys until thick.
Frost the cooled brownies and refrigerate for 20 minutes.
Chocolate Ganache:
Place chocolate in a heatproof bowl.
Heat Baileys until almost boiling and pour over chocolate.
Let sit for 2 minutes, then whisk until smooth.
Spread over frosted brownies and refrigerate until firm.
To serve, lift out using the overhang and slice with a sharp knife.
