1 lb chicken tenders
1 cup shredded sharp cheddar cheese
1 cup breadcrumbs
1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
2 eggs
Salt and pepper to taste
Cooking spray


Instructions

Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). For the air fryer option, preheat the air fryer to 360°F (182°C).
In a shallow dish, combine the breadcrumbs with the shredded cheddar cheese.
In another dish, whisk together the eggs and Dijon mustard until well combined.
Season the chicken tenders with salt and pepper.
Dip each chicken tender first into the egg mixture, then coat with the breadcrumb and cheese mixture.
For the oven: Place the coated chicken tenders on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper and lightly sprayed with cooking spray. Bake for 20-25 minutes or until golden brown and cooked through.
For the air fryer: Place the chicken tenders in the air fryer basket in a single layer, making sure they do not overlap. Cook for 15-18 minutes, turning halfway through, until golden brown and crispy.
