The Baked Garlic Parmesan Chicken is a delightful blend of savory garlic and creamy Parmesan, creating a golden crust that seals in the juicy tenderness of the chicken. This easy-to-make dish is perfect for those busy weeknights when you want something quick yet satisfying. The combination of mayo and Parmesan not only adds flavor but also keeps the chicken moist throughout the baking process.
Ingredients
½ cup Mayonnaise
½ cup shredded Parmesan cheese
4 boneless skinless chicken breast cutlets
4–5 teaspoons Italian seasoned dry bread crumbs
½ teaspoon garlic powder
Pinch of salt
½ teaspoon lemon pepper
Instructions
Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C).
In a small bowl, combine mayonnaise, garlic powder, and Parmesan cheese.
Moisten chicken breasts with water and lay on a baking sheet (lining the sheet with parchment paper for easy cleanup is recommended).
Divide the mayonnaise mixture evenly among the chicken, spreading it across the top of each piece. Sprinkle with salt and lemon pepper to taste.
Bake for 15-20 minutes. Remove from oven and sprinkle bread crumbs on each piece of chicken.
Return to the oven and bake for an additional 20 minutes, or until the chicken is thoroughly cooked and juices run clear.
The tops will be browned, and the chicken will be incredibly juicy. Optionally, finish them off under the broiler for a minute or two to get them extra browned on top.
Serve with a veggie like steamed fresh broccoli. Season with a dash of fresh parsley if desired.
