Ingredients

Scale

2 bananas
Optional Ingredients for flavor (use any combination you’d like):
1 teaspoon vanilla extract (I love Simply Organic Vanilla Extract)
1/4 cup walnuts, crushed
A dash of cinnamon

1 tablespoon cacao powder
1/2 tablespoon honey, raw
1/2 tablespoon almond butter

Instructions

Slice the bananas into 1/2 inch slices.
Place slices into a freezer bag or airtight container and put in the freezer for 3 hours or until frozen.
With a hand blender, blend the bananas until they lighten in color and look creamy.
Mix in any desired flavorings.
Replace the mixture in the freezer in an airtight container and freeze for at least one hour.
Top with seasonal fruit and/or nuts (we used blueberries and walnuts)!
