These rolls are not just a treat for the taste buds but also a feast for the eyes, dusted with powdered sugar and served warm, inviting you to unwind and savor each bite.

Ingredients

Scale

10 slices sandwich bread
3 Bananas, sliced thinly
34 tbsp Butter
1 tbsp Sugar (for sautéing bananas)
2 Eggs
3 tbsp Milk
1/3 cup sugar (for coating)
1/21 tsp Cinnamon
Powdered sugar (for dusting)

Instructions

Heat a non-stick pan over medium heat, melt 1-1/2 tbsp of butter. Add sliced bananas and 1 tbsp sugar. Sauté until golden.
In a small bowl, mix the remaining sugar with cinnamon. In another bowl, beat the eggs with milk.
Remove the crusts from the bread slices and flatten them with a rolling pin.
Spread 1-2 teaspoons of the banana mixture along one edge of the bread. Brush the opposite side with egg wash.
Roll the bread tightly around the banana mixture, ensuring the roll is sealed.
Melt 1 tbsp of butter in a pan. Dip the rolls in the egg mixture, then cook seam side down, 3-4 rolls at a time, turning to brown all sides.
Wipe the pan with a paper towel between batches. Roll the cooked rolls in the sugar-cinnamon mixture or dust with powdered sugar.
Serve warm.
