Description

Banana Split Bites are a delightful and easy-to-make treat that combines the freshness of fruit with the indulgence of chocolate and nuts. These bites feature juicy strawberries, sweet bananas, and tangy pineapple, all dipped in rich, melted chocolate and rolled in crunchy chopped peanuts. The combination of textures and flavors makes each bite a delicious and satisfying experience.

Ingredients

Scale

3 bananas
1/4 lb cored pineapple
6 strawberries
1 cup dipping chocolate
1/4 cup chopped peanuts
12 popsicle sticks or skewers

Instructions

Prepare the Fruit:
Cut the strawberries in half.
Cut the bananas and pineapple into pieces roughly the same size as the strawberry halves.
Assemble the Bites:
Thread a piece of pineapple onto each popsicle stick or skewer, followed by a piece of banana, and finally a strawberry half.
Place the assembled fruit bites in the freezer for 10 minutes to chill.
Prepare for Dipping:
Line a tray with wax paper or parchment paper.
Place the chopped nuts on a small plate for dipping.
Melt the Chocolate:
Melt the dipping chocolate by heating it in the microwave in 30-second intervals, stirring between each interval until the chocolate is fully melted and smooth.
Dip the Fruit:
Dip the cold fruit bites into the melted chocolate, then immediately into the chopped nuts.
Place the dipped fruit bites on the prepared tray.
Set and Serve:
Allow the chocolate to set before serving. You can place the tray in the refrigerator to speed up the process if desired.
