Description

These Basic Cauliflower Fritters are a versatile dish that can be enjoyed as a snack, side, or even a main course. The fritters are crispy on the outside with a tender, flavorful inside, making them a satisfying option for any meal. Serve them with your favorite sauce for dipping, whether it’s a tangy sour cream, a spicy aioli, or a fresh herb dip.

Ingredients

Scale

5 cups chopped cauliflower florets
2 eggs
½ cup all-purpose flour
½ tsp baking powder
Salt and pepper to taste
Vegetable oil for frying

Instructions

Prepare the Cauliflower: Place the cauliflower florets into a food processor and process until finely minced.
Mix the Ingredients: Transfer the minced cauliflower into a large mixing bowl. Add the eggs, all-purpose flour, baking powder, salt, and pepper. Mix everything well until you have a paste-like mixture. If the mixture appears too soft and moist, add a little more flour until it holds together better.
Form the Fritters: Using an ice cream scoop or your hands, form the mixture into small patties about ⅓ inch thick. You can make them smaller or larger depending on your preference.
Fry the Fritters: Heat a small amount of vegetable oil in a frying pan over medium heat. Fry the patties for about 2 minutes on each side, or until golden brown and crispy.
Serve: Serve the cauliflower fritters hot, with sour cream or your favorite dipping sauce.
