For the Blueberry Sauce:
2 cups fresh blueberries
2 Tbsp orange juice
1/4 cup granulated sugar
1 1/2 Tbsp cornstarch
2 Tbsp water
For the Dough:
1 cup whole milk
1/4 cup cold butter
3 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
1 package (0.25 oz) active dry yeast
1/4 cup granulated sugar
1 egg, room temperature
1/2 tsp salt
1/4 cup water
For the Filling:
3 Tbsp softened butter
1/3 cup light brown sugar
4 Tbsp softened butter
2 tsp ground cinnamon
1/3 cup blueberry sauce
For the Glaze:
1 cup confectoner’s sugar
1/2 Tbsp lemon juice
1 Tbsp whole milk

Instructions

Blueberry Sauce: In a small saucepan over medium heat, combine blueberries, orange juice, and sugar. Cook until blueberries start breaking down. Mix water and cornstarch, add to the saucepan, and cook until thickened. Set aside.
Dough: Heat milk until it barely bubbles, then remove from heat and add butter. Once cooled to 110°F, mix with flour, sugar, yeast, salt, water, and egg in an electric mixer. Knead until the dough is tacky but not sticky.
Rise: Let dough rise covered for 1 hour until doubled.
Filling: Roll dough into a rectangle, spread with butter, then the blueberry-cinnamon mixture. Roll up the dough and cut into 12 rolls.
Second Rise: Place rolls in a baking dish, let rise for 30 minutes.
Bake: Bake at 350°F for 20 minutes. Cool slightly.
Glaze: Whisk glaze ingredients and drizzle over warm rolls with remaining blueberry sauce.
