- 3 to 4 tablespoons milk or water
- 1 teaspoon rum extract
- 1/2 cup chopped pecans

- Cream the butter with the powdered sugar and salt until the mixture is light and fluffy. Blend in the flour thoroughly to form the cookie dough base.
- Incorporate the butterscotch chips and finely chopped pecans into the dough, mixing well by hand to ensure even distribution of flavors.
