Description

Imagine pulling apart a warm, freshly baked loaf, where each piece is a perfect blend of spicy jalapeño and rich, melty cheese. That’s exactly what you get with this Cheddar Jalapeño Pull Apart Bread. It’s a masterpiece of flavors and textures, combining the soft, pillowy dough with the creamy melt of mozzarella and cheddar, all punctuated by the bright zing of pickled jalapeños. This bread is not just a dish; it’s an experience, one that brings people together, inviting them to share in its cheesy, spicy goodness.

Ingredients

Scale

1 pound pizza dough
2 tablespoons butter, melted
1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
1 cup grated cheddar cheese
¼ cup sliced pickled jalapeño peppers, drained

Instructions

Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C). Butter a loaf pan, then place a piece of parchment paper in the pan so that it covers the bottom and sides.
Place the pizza dough on a floured board. Roll the dough out into a large rectangle about 10×20 inches.
Brush the melted butter over the dough. Sprinkle mozzarella and cheddar cheese over the dough, then top with the jalapeños, distributing evenly.
Using a sharp knife, cut the dough lengthwise into three long strips. Cut each strip into six squares.
Working four or six at a time, stack the squares, being careful not to lose too much of the cheese.
Place the layers of squares vertically in the prepared pan.
Bake bread until puffed and golden brown, about 25 minutes.
Let cool slightly before serving.
