Ingredients
2 cans (8 oz each) refrigerated crescent roll dough
2 packages (8 oz each) cream cheese, softened
1 cup granulated sugar
1 tsp vanilla extract
1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted
1/4 cup granulated sugar
1 tsp ground cinnamon
Instructions
Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and lightly grease a 9×13-inch casserole dish.
Unroll one can of crescent roll dough and press it into the bottom of the prepared casserole dish, sealing any seams.
In a medium bowl, combine cream cheese, 1 cup granulated sugar, and vanilla extract until smooth. Spread evenly over the crescent roll dough.
Unroll the second can of crescent roll dough and place it on top of the cream cheese mixture, sealing the edges.
Pour melted butter evenly over the top of the casserole. Mix 1/4 cup of sugar and cinnamon, then sprinkle it over the buttered top.
Bake for 30-35 minutes, until the crescent roll dough is golden brown and the filling is set. Let the casserole cool slightly before serving.
