Ingredients

Scale

For the Chicken:

5 boneless chicken breasts
Garlic powder, salt, and pepper to taste
Olive oil for cooking
For the Filling:

1 cup grated mozzarella cheese (half for filling, half for sauce)
1 10 oz can cream of chicken soup
1 soup can full of milk
For the Rolls:

1 package crescent rolls

Instructions

Preparing the Chicken:

Season chicken with garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
In a skillet over medium heat, add olive oil and cook chicken until golden brown on both sides.
Let chicken cool, then chop or shred for filling.
Chicken Filling:

Mix the cooked, chopped chicken with 1/2 cup of grated mozzarella cheese in a bowl.
Assembling Crescent Rolls:

Unroll crescent dough and separate into triangles.
Spoon chicken and cheese mixture onto each triangle, roll up, and place seam-side down in a 9×13-inch baking dish.
Cheese Sauce:

In a saucepan, combine cream of chicken soup, milk, and remaining 1/2 cup of mozzarella cheese. Cook over medium heat until smooth and creamy.
Baking:

Pour cheese sauce over crescent rolls in the baking dish.
Bake at 350°F (175°C) for 30 minutes, or until crescent rolls are golden brown and sauce is bubbly.
Serving:

Let cool for a few minutes before serving. Garnish with fresh herbs if desired.
