Ingredients

Potatoes, diced (any type)
Butter
Salt & pepper or other seasoning (e.g., taco seasoning, garlic herb)
Ranch dressing, to taste
Shredded cheese (any type), to taste


Instructions

Preheat oven to 400 degrees F.
Place the diced potatoes in a baking dish. Dot with butter. Season with salt & pepper or your chosen seasoning. Cover with aluminum foil.
Bake for 50-60 minutes until potatoes are fork-tender.
Remove foil, add ranch dressing and shredded cheese. Bake for another 3-5 minutes until the cheese is melted and ranch is hot.
