2 teaspoons olive oil
8 ounces (226 grams) unsalted butter, room temperature
1 tablespoon chopped parsley
1 teaspoon sea salt
12 Hawaiian rolls
1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
Instructions
Preheat oven to 350ºF (180ºC).
Cut the garlic bulbs in half and spread olive oil evenly over each cut side. Rejoin the bulbs, wrap tightly in aluminum foil, and roast for 45 minutes until golden and caramelized.
Cool garlic for 10 minutes, then squeeze the soft garlic into a bowl. Let it cool completely.
Add butter, parsley, and salt to the roasted garlic. Mash together until well combined.
Cut a slit into each Hawaiian roll, being careful not to cut through completely.
Stuff each roll with garlic butter and a generous amount of mozzarella cheese.
Place the stuffed rolls on a baking sheet and cover with foil.
Bake for 10-15 minutes, until the rolls are heated through and the cheese is melted.
