- 2 cans (21 oz each) cherry pie filling
- 1 cup powdered sugar
- ½ tsp vanilla extract
- ½ tsp almond extract
- 2–3 tbsp milk

- Preheat your oven to 350°F (177°C). Grease a 15x10x1-inch baking pan.
- Cream together the softened butter, sugar, and salt in a large mixing bowl until the mixture is light and fluffy.
- Add the eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition.
- Mix in the vanilla and almond extracts.
- Gradually add the flour, mixing until combined.
- Spread 3 cups of the dough evenly into the bottom of the prepared baking pan.
- Layer the cherry pie filling over the dough.
- Drop the remaining dough by teaspoonfuls over the cherry filling.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 30-35 minutes or until the top is golden brown. Allow the bars to cool completely in the pan on a wire rack.
- In a small bowl, mix together the powdered sugar, vanilla extract, almond extract, and enough milk to achieve the desired glaze consistency. Drizzle the glaze over the cooled bars.
