Ingredients
Scale

- 1 lb chicken fillets, boneless, skinless
 - 3 tbsp oil
 - 12 oz chow mein noodles (uncooked)
 - 2 cups chopped cabbage
 - 1 large carrot, julienned
 - 1/2 batch of green onions, chopped
 - 2 garlic cloves, minced
 - 6 tbsp oyster sauce
 - 3 tbsp low sodium soy sauce
 - 3 tbsp light sesame oil (not toasted)
 - 1/2 cup chicken broth
 - 1 tbsp cornstarch
 - 1 tbsp granulated sugar

Instructions
- Prepare the Sauce: In a small mixing bowl, combine the oyster sauce, soy sauce, sesame oil, chicken broth, cornstarch, and sugar. Whisk well until smooth and set aside.
 - Cook the Noodles: Prepare the chow mein noodles according to the package’s instructions. Once cooked, drain and rinse them under cold water to stop the cooking process. Set aside.
 - Cook the Chicken: Heat oil in a large wok or skillet over medium heat. Add the chicken fillets, previously cut into bite-sized strips, and cook until golden brown and fully cooked. Remove from the wok and set aside.
 - Sauté the Vegetables: In the same wok, add the julienned carrots, chopped cabbage, and minced garlic. Sauté for a few minutes until the vegetables are tender and the cabbage is slightly translucent.
 - Combine and Finish Cooking: Add the cooked chicken and noodles back into the wok with the vegetables. Pour the prepared sauce over everything, mixing well to combine. Cook for an additional 2 minutes, stirring continuously, to allow flavors to meld.
