Ingredients
2 cups cooked chicken, shredded or diced
1 tube (8 ounces) refrigerated crescent rolls
4 ounces cream cheese, softened
1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
1/4 cup chopped green onions
1/4 cup diced bell pepper (any color)
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1/2 teaspoon dried basil
Salt and pepper to taste
Optional: 1/4 cup shredded cheddar cheese for topping
Instructions
Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or lightly grease it.
In a mixing bowl, combine the cooked chicken, cream cheese, Parmesan cheese, green onions, diced bell pepper, garlic powder, dried basil, salt, and pepper. Mix until well combined.
Unroll the crescent roll dough and separate it into triangles. Place a spoonful of the chicken mixture onto the wide end of each triangle.
Starting at the wide end, roll up each crescent roll, enclosing the chicken mixture inside. Place the rolls seam side down on the prepared baking sheet.
If desired, sprinkle shredded cheddar cheese over the tops of the rolls for extra flavor.
Bake in the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes, or until the crescent rolls are golden brown and cooked through.
Remove from the oven and let cool for a few minutes before serving.
