2 tablespoons olive oil π«
1 ΒΌ pounds large shrimp prawns, shelled and deveined, tails on or off π€
1/16 teaspoon coarse salt, to taste π§
1/16 teaspoon ground black pepper, to taste πΆοΈ
4 tablespoons butter π§
4–5 cloves garlic, minced (or 1 Β½ tablespoons minced garlic) π§
2 tablespoons broth π²
1–2 whole red cayenne chili peppers πΆοΈ
ΒΌ cup parsley, chopped πΏ
Instructions
1οΈβ£ Heat olive oil in a large pan or skillet over medium heat. Add the shrimp, season with salt and pepper to taste, and sear for 1-2 minutes on each side (until just beginning to turn pink). π€π₯
2οΈβ£ Quickly deglaze the pan with a splash of broth, scraping up any browned bits from the bottom of the pan. π²
3οΈβ£ Add the butter, garlic, red chilis, and parsley. Toss the shrimp through the butter sauce and cook for a further 30 seconds β 1 minute until the shrimp is cooked through (being careful not to overcook your shrimp). π§π§πΆοΈ
4οΈβ£ Immediately take off heat and serve. π½οΈ
