Description

These No-Bake Chocolate Chia Energy Balls are a perfect mix of indulgence and nutrition. Made with oats, chia seeds, and almond butter, these bites are packed with healthy fats, fiber, and antioxidants from raw cacao and dark chocolate. They’re easy to make and ideal for an on-the-go snack, post-workout energy boost, or a healthy dessert.

Ingredients

Scale

1 cup rolled oats
¼ cup chia seeds
⅛ tsp fine sea salt
½ cup almond butter
⅓ cup honey
¼ cup raw cacao powder
1 tsp vanilla extract
¼ cup dark chocolate chips

Instructions

In a large mixing bowl, combine the rolled oats and chia seeds. Set aside.
In a small saucepan over low heat, melt together the almond butter and honey, stirring until smooth and well-combined.
Stir in the raw cacao powder, sea salt, and vanilla extract, mixing until fully incorporated.
Pour the chocolate mixture over the oats and chia seeds, and stir until everything is evenly combined.
Refrigerate the mixture for 5-10 minutes to cool slightly, which will help prevent the chocolate chips from melting when added.
Once the mixture has cooled, stir in the dark chocolate chips.
Using a cookie scoop or tablespoon, roll the mixture into balls and place them on a parchment-lined baking sheet.
Refrigerate the balls for at least 30 minutes to allow them to harden. Store them in an airtight container in the fridge and enjoy as a snack or treat!
