Description

This Chocolate Protein Cake is a perfect combination of rich chocolate flavor and high protein content, making it an ideal dessert for those who want to indulge without guilt. Made with simple ingredients like Greek yogurt and oat flour, this cake is not only delicious but also nutritious.

Ingredients

Scale

1 egg
120 grams nonfat Greek yogurt
50 grams oat flour (or preferred flour)
50 grams chocolate-flavored protein powder (see notes)
20 grams cocoa powder
¾ tsp baking powder
60 to 180 ml milk of choice (see notes)
Optional:
Sweetener of choice, to taste (if using unflavored protein powder, see notes)

Instructions

Preheat your oven to 175ºC (350°F). Line a 20 cm (7.8 inches) cake mold with parchment paper.
In a large mixing bowl, beat the egg together with the Greek yogurt until smooth.
Add the oat flour, protein powder, cocoa powder, and baking powder to the bowl.
Begin mixing, gradually adding the milk until a smooth cake batter forms. The amount of milk needed depends on the type of protein powder used (see notes).
Pour the batter into the prepared mold and bake in the preheated oven for 20 to 25 minutes.
Let the cake cool before serving.
Notes:
The amount of milk needed can vary depending on the protein powder. Start with 60 ml and add more as needed to achieve a smooth batter consistency.
If using unflavored protein powder, you may want to add a sweetener of your choice to taste.
