Ingredients
1/2 cup sugar
2 tablespoons ground cinnamon
2 packages (8 oz each) cream cheese, softened
1/2 cup sugar
1 egg
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
2 cans (8 oz each) Pillsbury crescent dinner rolls
Instructions
Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). In a small bowl, combine 1/2 cup sugar with 2 tablespoons cinnamon; set aside.
In a mixing bowl, beat the cream cheese until smooth. Add sugar, egg, and vanilla, continuing to beat until the mixture is smooth and creamy.
Spray a 9×13-inch baking pan with non-stick cooking spray and sprinkle half of the cinnamon-sugar mixture evenly on the bottom.
Unroll one can of dough on a lightly floured surface, pressing seams together. Transfer the dough into the prepared pan, pressing to the edges.
Spread the cream cheese mixture evenly over the dough. Unroll the second can of dough, preparing it as the first, and place it over the filling.
Sprinkle the remaining cinnamon-sugar mixture on top of the dough.
Bake in the preheated oven for about 30 minutes or until the top is lightly browned.
