Ingredients

Scale

1 cup almond butter
½ cup maple syrup
⅛ teaspoon salt
2 cups quick oats
2 tablespoons cinnamon
2 tablespoons ground flax (optional)

Instructions

In a medium pot, place the almond butter and maple syrup. Heat over medium heat, stirring until melted and mixed together, about 2-4 minutes. Remove from heat.
Add all the remaining ingredients to the pot or another bowl. Stir well until everything is incorporated.
Spread the mixture into a greased 8×8 square pan, using a spatula to press down until the mix is evenly distributed.
Cut into 12 bars (2 rows by 6 rows). These oatmeal granola bars can be stored at room temperature for about 3 days. For longer freshness, keep them in the fridge for up to 2 weeks or freeze them for up to 3 months. Store in an airtight container or sealed bag.
