Description

The Juicy Lucy is not just a burger; it’s an experience. Imagine biting into a perfectly grilled patty and discovering a hidden core of molten cheddar cheese that stretches with every bite. This iconic burger, known for its cheese-stuffed inside, is a favorite for anyone who loves a good twist on the classic cheeseburger.

In crafting the perfect Juicy Lucy, the key is in sealing the cheese within the beef patty to ensure that each bite is infused with cheesy goodness. It’s a fantastic choice for backyard barbecues or a decadent treat on a casual weeknight. Pair it with some crispy fries and a cold beer for a meal that truly satisfies.

Ingredients

Scale

1 lb ground beef
1 Tbsp Worcestershire sauce
1/2 tsp garlic powder
1/2 tsp onion powder
1 tsp salt
1/2 tsp pepper
3 slices of cheddar cheese

Instructions

Preheat your grill to 350-400 degrees Fahrenheit.
In a medium bowl, mix the ground beef with Worcestershire sauce, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper.
Divide the beef into 3 equal portions (about ⅓ lb each).
Fold each cheese slice into four stacks.
Split one beef portion into two halves and flatten into patties. Place a cheese stack in the center of one patty, cover with the other patty, and pinch the edges to seal.
Gently press the filled patties into a burger shape, ensuring the cheese is fully enclosed.
Grill the patties for about 7 minutes on each side or until cooked to your preference.
Serve with your favorite burger toppings and enjoy!
