For the crust:

1 cup all-purpose flour
½ cup butter, softened
¼ cup powdered sugar
For the filling:

8 oz (225g) cream cheese, softened
1 cup granulated sugar
2 large eggs
2 tablespoons all-purpose flour
3 tablespoons lemon juice
1 teaspoon lemon zest


Instructions

1️⃣ Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). 🔥

2️⃣ Combine flour, softened butter, and powdered sugar in a bowl. Press into the bottom of a 9×9-inch baking dish to form an even crust. 🥄

3️⃣ Bake the crust for 15-20 minutes, or until lightly golden. ⏳

4️⃣ Beat softened cream cheese in a bowl until smooth. Add granulated sugar, eggs, flour, lemon juice, and lemon zest, mixing until combined. 🍋

5️⃣ Pour the filling over the baked crust and spread evenly. Bake for an additional 20-25 minutes, or until the filling is set. ⏳

6️⃣ Let cool completely, then refrigerate for at least 2 hours before cutting into bars.
