Its preparation in a slow cooker ensures each serving is equally creamy and delectable, making it a hassle-free option that promises to warm every diner’s heart.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 cups uncooked elbow pasta
  • 3 ½ tablespoons butter
  • 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
  • ½ cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • ½ cup sour cream
  • 1 (10 ¾ oz) can cheddar cheese soup
  • 1 ¼ cup milk
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • ½ teaspoon mustard powder
  • ½ teaspoon paprika

Instructions

  1. Cook 2 cups of uncooked elbow pasta as per the package instructions until al dente. Once done, drain the pasta well and set it aside.
  2. Melt 3 ½ tablespoons of butter in a large skillet over medium heat. Gradually add the cheddar and mozzarella cheeses, stirring continuously until the cheeses melt completely and the mixture is smooth.
  3. Transfer the cheese mixture to the slow cooker. Add the sour cream, cheddar cheese soup, and the previously cooked pasta. Stir well to combine. Follow by adding the milk, salt, mustard powder, and paprika, mixing until everything is evenly distributed.
  4. Set the slow cooker to low and let the pasta cook for 2 hours, stirring occasionally to ensure the cheese distributes evenly and the pasta absorbs the flavors thoroughly.
  5. After 2 hours, the pasta should be creamy and bubbly. Serve hot directly from the crockpot and enjoy the comforting, cheesy goodness.
