Description

Creamy Shrimp Scampi blends the elegant flavors of the sea with the comfort of pasta, creating a dish that’s both indulgent and satisfying. This recipe features jumbo shrimp marinated in a mix of garlic, lemon zest, and spices, then tossed with linguine in a creamy, rich sauce. It’s perfect for those evenings when you want something special without spending hours in the kitchen.

Ingredients

Scale

1 lb linguine, cooked
1 cup white wine
2 cups heavy cream
1/4 cup freshly chopped parsley
1/4 cup chopped shallots
4 tbsp unsalted butter
3 tbsp lemon juice
2 tbsp sliced garlic
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 tsp black pepper
1/4 tsp red pepper flakes
Olive oil for cooking

Garnish

2 tbsp freshly chopped parsley
2 tbsp freshly grated parmesan cheese

Instructions

In a bowl, combine all ingredients listed under “Shrimp Marinade” and mix until thoroughly combined.
Over medium heat in a large pan, sear the marinated shrimp on both sides until golden brown and set aside.
In the same pan, add unsalted butter, shallots, sliced garlic, and red pepper flakes. Cook for a few minutes until the garlic becomes fragrant.
Add white wine, lemon juice, and parsley. Cook for 4-5 minutes to reduce slightly and allow the alcohol to cook out.
Stir in the heavy cream and season with salt and pepper. Cook until the sauce thickens.
Add the cooked linguine and mix until the pasta is well coated.
Return the shrimp to the pan and top with parmesan cheese and fresh parsley.
Serve immediately and enjoy!
