Ingredients
Scale
- 1 lb gnocchi (choose from shelf-stable, refrigerator, or frozen types like regular, cauliflower, or sweet potato)
- 1 – 2 tbsp extra-virgin olive oil
- ½ tsp garlic powder
- ½ tsp salt
- ½ tsp black pepper
- 2 – 3 tbsp freshly grated parmesan
Instructions
- Preheat the Air Fryer: Start by preheating your air fryer to 390°F. Lightly grease the basket with olive oil spray to prevent sticking.
- Season the Gnocchi: In a large mixing bowl, combine the gnocchi with extra-virgin olive oil, garlic powder, salt, and black pepper. If you’re using frozen gnocchi, there’s no need to thaw them ahead of time.
- Cook the Gnocchi: Transfer the seasoned gnocchi to the air fryer basket. Arrange them in a single layer to ensure they crisp up nicely. For Shelf-Stable & Refrigerated Gnocchi: Air fry at 390°F for 11 – 14 minutes, shaking the basket every 4 to 5 minutes, until golden and crispy on all sides. For Frozen Gnocchi: Air fry at 390°F for 13 – 16 minutes, shaking the basket similarly, until they achieve a perfect golden color.
- Garnish and Serve: Once cooked, immediately sprinkle with additional parmesan cheese and optional fresh parsley. Serve hot as a snack with your favorite dipping sauce or incorporate into meals as desired.
- Prep Time: 5 minutes
- Cook Time: 11-16 minutes depending on gnocchi type
