Description
These Crispy Farfalle Chips redefine the way we think about pasta. Traditionally boiled and served as a main course, farfalle pasta takes a new form here—crisped to perfection in an air fryer, seasoned with classic Italian flavors, and served with a side of marinara sauce for dipping. It’s a novel snack that combines the comfort of pasta with the crunch of a chip.
Ingredients
8 oz farfalle pasta
1 1/2 teaspoons olive oil
1/2 cup fresh grated Parmesan cheese
1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
3/4 teaspoon sea salt, plus more to taste
1/2 cup marinara sauce, for dipping
Instructions
Cook farfalle pasta according to the package instructions until al dente. Drain without rinsing.
Transfer the cooked pasta to a large bowl. Add olive oil, Parmesan cheese, Italian seasoning, garlic powder, and sea salt. Toss until all the pasta is evenly coated.
Place the seasoned pasta in a single layer in the air fryer. Set the air fryer to 400°F and cook for 10 minutes or until the pasta is golden brown and crispy. Shake the basket once or twice during cooking. If necessary, cook in batches to avoid overcrowding.
Remove the pasta chips from the air fryer, let them cool, and serve with marinara sauce for dipping.
