- 1 cup corn syrup

- Mix Cereal and Pecans In a large mixing bowl, combine the Crispix cereal and pecan halves, setting them aside for later use.
- Prepare the Syrup In a large saucepan over medium-high heat, melt the brown sugar, corn syrup, and butter. Stir the mixture occasionally until it comes to a boil. After removing it from the heat, immediately stir in the vanilla extract and baking soda to the mixture.
