Ingredients
1 French baguette, sliced into 1/2 inch thick pieces 🥖
8 plum tomatoes, diced 🍅
1 cup fresh basil, chopped 🌿
1/2 red onion, minced 🧅
3 cloves garlic, peeled 🧄
1/4 cup extra virgin olive oil 🫒
1 tablespoon balsamic vinegar
Salt and pepper to taste 🧂
Instructions
1️⃣ Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). 🔥
2️⃣ Combine diced tomatoes, chopped basil, minced red onion, olive oil, balsamic vinegar, salt, and pepper in a bowl. Mix well and set aside. 🍅🌿
3️⃣ Arrange baguette slices on a baking sheet. Toast in the oven for about 5 minutes, or until they are golden brown. 🥖🔥
4️⃣ Rub the peeled garlic cloves over the top of each toasted baguette slice. This will infuse the bread with a delicious garlic flavor. 🧄
