2 tablespoons peanut butter (creamy or crunchy)
1 tablespoon honey or molasses

1/4 teaspoon black pepper
1 teaspoon cornstarch (optional, for thickening)


Instructions

Combine Ingredients: In a small bowl, thoroughly mix soy sauce, peanut butter, honey or molasses, rice vinegar, sesame oil, garlic, ginger, and black pepper until smooth.
Thicken (Optional): If a thicker consistency is desired, first dissolve the cornstarch in 1 tablespoon of water, then stir into the sauce mixture.
Cook: Transfer the mixture to a small saucepan and cook over medium-low heat for about 5 minutes, stirring frequently. Avoid letting it boil, cooking just until the sauce is heated through and slightly thickened.
