Ingredients
1 cup butter (224 g)
3 cups icing sugar (360 g)
1 ½ tablespoons espresso, chilled
½ teaspoon vanilla extract
Instructions
Using an electric mixer, whisk the butter on high speed for 4-5 minutes until it becomes pale and soft.
Reduce the mixer speed to low and gradually add the icing sugar, mixing until fully combined.
Add the chilled espresso and vanilla extract. Increase the speed slightly and whisk for an additional minute until the frosting is light and fluffy. Be careful not to overmix.
