Description

Espresso Overnight Oats fuse the invigorating taste of freshly brewed espresso with the wholesome goodness of oats in a no-fuss, ready-to-eat breakfast. Perfect for busy mornings, these oats offer a delicious and nutritious start to the day, enhanced with the bold flavors of coffee and sweet chocolate chips.

Ingredients

Scale

1 cup rolled oats
1 cup milk (dairy or plant-based)
1 shot (1 oz) espresso, cooled
2 tablespoons sweetener (honey, maple syrup, or agave nectar)
1 tablespoon chia seeds (optional)
1 teaspoon vanilla extract (optional)
2 tablespoons chocolate chips
Fresh fruit, nuts, or granola for topping (optional)

Instructions

In a medium-sized mixing bowl, combine rolled oats, milk, espresso, sweetener, chia seeds (if using), vanilla extract (if using), and chocolate chips.
Stir thoroughly to ensure all ingredients are well-distributed.
Divide the mixture evenly between two mason jars or airtight containers.
Seal and refrigerate for at least 6 hours, or overnight, allowing the oats to absorb the liquid and soften.
Before serving, stir well to redistribute any settled ingredients.
Top with fresh fruit, nuts, or granola as desired.
