Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line baking sheets with parchment paper.
  2. Cream together softened butter and sugar until light and fluffy.
  3. Mix in eggs, vanilla extract, almond extract, and optional lemon zest until smooth.
  4. Whisk together flour, baking powder, and salt in a separate bowl.
  5. Gradually add dry ingredients to wet ingredients to form a dough.
