Description

These Fig & Goat Cheese Bites with Pistachios are a delightful combination of creamy, tangy goat cheese paired with sweet fig preserves, all nestled in a crispy phyllo shell. The addition of crushed pistachios adds a beautiful crunch and a touch of saltiness, balancing the flavors perfectly.

Ingredients

Scale

1 (4 oz.) Joan of Arc® Goat Cheese log
15 mini frozen phyllo shells
1/2 cup fig preserves
810 pistachios, roughly crushed or chopped

Instructions

Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
Thaw the mini frozen phyllo cups for about 10 minutes.
Once thawed, fill each phyllo shell with about 1 tablespoon of goat cheese.
Place the filled phyllo shells on a baking sheet and bake for about 10 minutes, or until the goat cheese begins to soften and melt slightly.
Remove the phyllo shells from the oven and top each with 1 teaspoon of fig preserves.
For an optional finishing touch, sprinkle each bite with crushed pistachios.
Serve warm and enjoy!
