16 ounce Italian bread loaf
Butter & garlic powder for bread
1 pound ground beef
1 pound ground sausage
16 ounce tomato sauce
6 ounce tomato paste
1 medium onion, diced
7 ounce uncooked spaghetti
½ cup Parmesan cheese, divided
⅔ cup Mozzarella cheese, divided
1 tablespoon generous Italian seasoning
1 teaspoon salt + a pinch
½ teaspoon minced garlic
½ teaspoon ground black pepper


Instructions

Preheat oven to 375° Fahrenheit.
Boil spaghetti until al dente; drain.
In a skillet, brown beef & sausage with onion; drain fat. Add tomato sauce, paste, seasoning, garlic, salt & pepper; simmer 5-8 minutes.
Add spaghetti to sauce; mix and remove from heat.
Halve bread loaf, hollow out each half, brush with butter, sprinkle garlic powder, and toast.
Fill bread with spaghetti mixture, top with cheeses.
Bake 15-20 minutes until cheese is melted and golden.
