Ingredients
1 head of cauliflower, separated into equal size florets
1 tbsp butter
1 clove garlic, minced
Salt to taste
For the breadcrumbs:
30 g (⅓ cup) Panko breadcrumbs
1 tbsp butter
½ tsp garlic powder
1 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped
Instructions
Prepare the breadcrumbs by melting 1 tbsp of butter in a frying pan. Add the breadcrumbs, garlic powder, and chopped parsley, and cook until the breadcrumbs are slightly toasted. Remove from the pan immediately to avoid burning. Set aside until needed.
Separate a head of cauliflower into equal-sized florets. Steam in a steam basket for 7-10 minutes until softened but still retaining a bite.
Melt 1 tbsp of butter in a frying pan, then add the steamed cauliflower with a pinch of salt and sauté until golden, turning the florets to ensure all sides are browned. At the end, add minced garlic clove and cook for 30 seconds, stirring to coat the cauliflower with the garlic. Add more salt if needed and take off the heat.
Sprinkle with the prepared breadcrumbs right before serving to avoid them going soggy.
