Ingredients
12 count Hawaiian sweet rolls
Garlic Cream Cheese Filling:
8 oz cream cheese, softened
1/2 cup mozzarella cheese, shredded
2 tbsp green onion, diced
1 tbsp parsley, chopped
1 tsp garlic, minced
1 tsp onion powder
1/2 tsp salt
1/4 tsp sugar
Garlic Butter:
1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
1 tbsp parsley, chopped
1 tsp garlic, minced
1/2 tsp salt
Garnish:
1/4 cup parmesan cheese, grated
Instructions
Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
In a bowl, mix all the ingredients for the garlic cream cheese filling until well combined.
Transfer the filling to a piping bag and set aside.
Mix together the ingredients for the garlic butter and set aside.
Make crosscuts halfway into each roll, dividing them into 4 connected pieces.
Fill the crosscuts with the garlic cream cheese filling.
Brush on the garlic butter and place on the middle rack of the preheated oven.
Bake for 13-15 minutes or until the filling is melted and the tops are golden brown.
Once baked, top with remaining garlic butter and some parmesan cheese.
Serve while warm.
