Description

Grilled Beef Kafta Skewers represent a delightful journey into Middle Eastern cuisine, where simple ingredients blend to create rich, aromatic flavors. Each skewer is carefully prepared, infusing the lean ground beef with a mixture of finely chopped parsley, onion, and a harmonious blend of spices, then grilled to perfection, offering a smoky, savory, and slightly spicy experience that delights the palate.

Ingredients

Scale

1 medium yellow onion, quartered
1 cup fresh parsley, washed and patted dry
600 grams lean ground beef
1 teaspoon salt
¼ teaspoon black pepper
¼ teaspoon seven spice blend
⅛ teaspoon cayenne pepper, more to taste

Instructions

In the bowl of a food processor, combine quartered onion and fresh parsley. Pulse until finely chopped.
Transfer the parsley and onion mixture to a large mixing bowl. Add ground beef and all spices. Mix well using your hands.
Take portions of the mixture and form it around skewers, making the meat about 1 to 1.5 inches thick.
Preheat your grill. If using a gas grill, set it to medium-high heat and oil the grates. Place the skewers on the grill.
Cook for about 4 minutes on one side, then flip and cook for another 4 minutes or until fully cooked.
